John Mayer and Buddy Guy |
by senior contributor Brendan Kownacki
Seven time GRAMMY winner John Mayer was in DC this week to be honored at
the annual GRAMMYs on the Hill, supporting his advocacy work for music
education and standing up for veterans.
Mayer was honored along with Rep. Howard Berman and was joined by The Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, Luke Russert and blues legend Buddy Guy.
Guy and Mayer took to the stage for an energy filled performance showing that music is one of the issues that can bridge the partisan gap on Capitol Hill.
