Spring fever on a plate.

by contributor Brendan Kownacki

The weather was warm, the drinks were cool and refreshing, and every plate inspired.......Japanese inspired that is, as a tribute to the annual Cherry Blossom Festival.

Celebrating its centennial this year, the hundred year mark is revving people up all over town to celebrate the colors and heritage of the signature springtime trees. This is no different for The Renaissance Dupont, where chef Devon Capili has crafted a seasonal and scrumptious menu for diners in the M Bar & Lounge.

Whether it is the luxury of Kobe beef sliders, the fresh flavors of ahi tuna, or the delicate blend of flavors in the Tokyo Ramen, any diner can expect a hint of spring fever by the end of the meal. The bar is also offering a variety of cherry infused cocktails to add a kick.

The Renaissance considers itself a "discoverer hotel" according to General Manager Matt Felix. "Sip. Savor. Shop and Seek." he added as a motto for the hotel, which is also home to the RLIfe Music series.
Felix says that the seasonal culinary treats and musical acts are just part of the Renaissance's commitment to showing guests the diversity of ways to explore the city they are staying in and all that is available right around them.

We're ready to discover more of this menu anytime...
