Politicos Push for Participation with VotoLatino

Co founders Maria Teresa Kumar and Rosario Dawson

by contributor Brendan Kownacki

Friday night, The Brunswick Group gathered together media and political insiders with partner organization VotoLatino as a part of the White House Correspondent's dinner festivities. VotoLatino is a group dedicated to encouraging political activism and participation in the latino community. Group co-founder, actress Rosario Dawson, was on hand to talk about the issues and discuss what it is like for Hollywood to descend on Washington. She noted that she, along with her other group members were "summoned to the White House" --which was a pleasant treat, to get to speak to the President about the importance of Latino participation in the country.  Link to YouTube video here: http://www.youtube.com/bkownacki#p/a/u/0/FqozRscV5go
