Festive just isn’t a strong enough word to describe the holiday cheer that filled the room when The Madison gathered on Saturday night to kick off the holiday spirit with its annual ‘Madison & Mistletoe’ gala in Georgetown’s swanky House of Sweden.
Guests flocked toward the Georgetown waterfront for fun, music, dancing and maybe a few reindeer games as the group also celebrated its year-long fundraising effort in support of No Greater Sacrifice. The Madison had chosen NGS as its 2011 philanthropy recipient, and raised thousands of dollars and countless awareness for the charitable cause that supports the children of wounded and fallen American soldiers.
"We've got an amazing space to celebrate in and have fun tonight" said Madison President Josie Taylor as she greeted guests around the room. Taylor shared an overwhelming enthusiasm about being able to lead the group to a successful fundraising effort for No Greater Sacrifice. “We're so excited to have everyone join us for the holidays and lend support for our charity, which provides amazing support for a worthy cause.”
