Forget those pricey designer bags, (Ralph Lauren not withstanding). Lauren Bush Lauren has a better idea. The fashion model and designer is also the founder of FEED started in 2006 when she designed a bag to benefit the United Nations World Food Program's (WFP) School Feeding operations.
Lauren, a WFP Honorary
Spokesperson who has visited eight WFP food aid operations around the
world, was inspired by the plight of the people she met on her travels.
She took a special interest in WFP's School Feeding program, which feeds
and educates hungry children. Bush was presented with The 2012
McCall-Pierpaoli Humanitarian Award at this year's benefit for Refugees International.
