The Olney Farmers and Artists Market opened for its sixth full season on Mothers Day
and will stay open Sundays through Nov. 4.

While there were lots of hits including Belgian waffles and Vietnamese specialties, Chef Enzo Fargione of ELISIR in D.C.'s Penn Quarter and Lisa Mushaw were a formidable duo.
Treasures of Tuscany Imported Olive Oil now available in US Stores - click to visit their storefront site.
The twosome teamed up to show the pairing of Tuscan Olive Oil and an assortment of breads, both served at ELISIR.

The Market is the brainchild of Olney resident Janet Terry, who was inspired by her visits to the outstanding Farmers Market in Charleston, South Carolina.  She had a vision to bring a quality farmers market to serve Olney. Her idea was presented to GOCA (Greater Olney Civic Association) in July 2007 and has grown into reality from there.
