localKICKS'  "Buzzworthy" columnist Allison Priebe Brooks hosted a semi surprise dinner in honor of Stephanie Green at The National Press Club with a St. Patrick's Day theme.

Stephanie, former half of  "Green & Glover Undercover" gossip column for The Washington Times and fashion freelancer for HuffPost and New York Social Diary, has landed in the most unexpected place as the Washington Bureau's Bloomberg Arts & Leisure reporter.  Not unexpected that Green would get the position, but unexpected that the serious business publication is ramping up its creative presence.

Twenty guests drank green beer and ate corn beef and cabbage in the private McClendon room, named after the feisty citizen journalist Sarah McClendon who scared the hell out of Presidents.  Ironic that one of Brooks' favorite quotes is: "Well behaved women rarely make history."  We did our best to live up to that.

While guests throughout the Press Club were getting their Irish on with live music, joke telling and toasts, Green got her own from supportive friends after having completed her first week on the job.  Making it simple for you, here's the Bookmark.
