Newsbabes and Newsmen in Pink, yes Pink

Ok, ok, so not a lot of Newsmen in Pink............no Palm Beach style jackets and pants, no pink shirts and green pants, but here are a few who sported pink ties, and yes, that counts.

Shirley and Ed Henry
Forever agreeable Ed Henry (off air at least), Chief White House Correspondent for Fox News Channel, came decked out in a pink foulard and tie (we're sure that Roland Martin is jealous) while supporting Newsbabes for Breast Cancer Benefiting George Washington University Mammovan at The Howard Theatre.

This year's honored guest was NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Andrea Mitchell shown here with MSNBC's Luke Russert, who seemingly pre coordinated his pink tones with Andrea.

We're not sure if  94.7 Fresh FM's Morning Show host Tommy McFly's shirt counts. We just think he got lucky by washing a white shirt with colored laundry

The evening was hosted by: Anita Brikman, Pamela Brown, Rebecca Cooper, Laura Evans, Doreen Gentzler, Jennifer Griffin, Lesli Foster, Angie Goff, Hillary Howard, Brianna Keilar, Britt McHenry, Sue Palka, Andrea Roane, Cynné Simpson, Alison Starling, Shawn Yancy and Eun Yang with a special appearance by the Newsmen in Pink, dressed by Alton Lane.

The pink dessert bar was presented by Georgetown Cupcake, Dolci Gelati and Sweet Signatures, music by DC 101's DJ Flounder.
